You are responsible for ensuring each customer leaves our stores with the right products they need and a desire to come back and visit us. Our budtenders are the key to ensuring our customers have a positive experience in our stores, whether they are new customers or one of our existing long-term regulars.\n\nBudtender Responsibilities:\nEnhancing the customer experience by providing educated product recommendations.\nEmbracing the Nectar culture by promoting our deals, rewards program, and customer satisfaction.\nMaintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment for team members and customers.\nEnsure the sales floor is properly stocked and that the store is well-maintained.\nPromoting a positive work environment that is customer service-oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.\nMaintain and continuously expand on knowledge of our products, brands and vendors.\nAccurately utilize the Point of Sale (Dutchie POS) in person and for online/phone orders.\nDetailed and accurate cash handling and proper application of various discounts.\nStrong understanding of our deals and promotions to effectively explain them to customers.\nMaintains accuracy and confidentiality when inputting Recreational and Medical customer information into our system to conduct sales.\nVerifying customers' Identification and/or Medical cards before each sale to ensure compliance.\nOther miscellaneous store duties vary depending on the location and store needs at any given moment, as assigned by the Management Team.\nCompensation:\nThis role starts at $18.00 an hour plus nightly cash tips.\nPromotion opportunities for key holder roles early on.\n\nBenefits include:\nHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance after 60-days. (Cigna).\nPaid Time Off. (40 hours in first year of employment).\nPaid Birthday Off + Time and a half on federal holidays.\nFSA and Retirement Savings Account.\nEAP (Employee Assistance Program).\n30% off Employee Discount at all of our retail locations.\nTuition Reimbursement.\nWellness Reimbursement.\nGreen Commute Travel Reimbursement.\n\nGrowth opportunities are a part of our business model at Nectar.
