RN Clinical Learning&Development Specialist

As an RN Clinical Learning & Development Specialist at Sanford Health, you will play a key role in advancing clinical excellence, staff development, and patient outcomes across our diverse healthcare settings. Drawing on your nursing expertise and passion for education, you will design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality learning experiences that support nurses and interprofessional team members in providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care. In this role, you will assess learning needs, create and refine curricula, and facilitate a variety of educational activities including classroom instruction, simulation-based learning, skills validation, and bedside coaching. You will shape and support orientation and onboarding for new clinical staff, as well as ongoing professional development and competency-based education for experienced team members. Partnering closely with clinical leaders, educators, and subject matter experts, you will ensure that educational initiatives align with Sanford Health's strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and quality and patient safety priorities. You will use adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to develop engaging materials and resources, including e-learning content and standardized tools for use across multiple Sanford Health locations. By leveraging data, feedback, and outcomes metrics, you will continuously evaluate and improve education programs, demonstrating their impact on clinical practice and patient care.
