Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems, suppliers/subcontractors, and customer needs. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to other quality teams, and suppliers. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented, current and implemented. Participates in assessments (e.g. quality audits) and may perform independent reviews to understand risks in order to drive Return to Green plans.
