The organization is committed to inclusion and belonging, culturally relevant care, and reducing health disparities.About the Opportunity:The TECHNICAL DATA ANALYST role is responsible for advanced analysis of raw and low-level data to support audit and compliance needs across the organization. This position ensures that data interpretations and outputs are accurate and defensible by deeply understanding source systems, data structures, and business rules. The analyst bridges raw data and business analytics, providing investigative insights to resolve complex questions and support operational and strategic decisions.Responsibilities:Query, extract, and analyze data from source systems and databases using advanced SQL and scripting tools.Investigate data lineage, transformations, and business rules to ensure analytical accuracy.Develop custom datasets for audits, compliance reviews, and operational investigations.Validate and reconcile data to identify anomalies and ensure completeness and accuracy.Translate complex business questions into structured analytical methods.Document data sources, processes, and methodologies for transparency and auditability.Collaborate with analysts, audit, compliance, operational, and technical teams to understand and explain data.Identify and communicate data quality issues to support improvements.Build reusable analytical queries while focusing on investigative analysis rather than standardized reporting.Communicate findings, methodologies, assumptions, and limitations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Perform special projects as assigned by senior audit leadership.Develop professional relationships that support audit and compliance functions while maintaining objectivity.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in sciences, coding, software engineering, business, or related field.Preferred certifications in SQL, data analysis, or related areas.Over 5 years of relevant experience; candidates with 3 to 5 years may be considered if aligning with required knowledge and culture.Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
