The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouse and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The ultimate goal of this role is to procure, process, dispatch, and deliver/transport products to customers and vendors for one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships.\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nDaily loading and unloading of products.\nAssist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.\nReceive, inspect and stock all merchandise.\nVerify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.\nPick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.\nCollect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.\nResponsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.\nAppropriate use and maintenance of OF device.\nAssist with physical inventory and inventory control.\nRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.\nProvide excellent customer service to external customers.\nEnsure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.\nAdhere to all safety requirements relevant to one's regular job duties.\nWear appropriate PPE.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nIn addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nRequired Qualifications\n\nMinimum 24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 22' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck.\nAbility to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.\nKnowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.\nAbility to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.\nA willingness to learn and grow with our Company.\nMust be 21 years of age or older.\nProven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nPass a pre-employment drug screening and background check\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.\nBilingual (Spanish) preferred.\nKnowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.\nHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)\nPay Range: $23-27/hr.\nClick Here to Learn About our Privacy Policy\nEEO Statement\nWatsco and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of age, color, race, religion, disability, sex, or national origin.
