You will develop best practices and content around Incident Management and On-Call, and collaborate across Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to represent the customers’ voice and drive continuous product improvements.\n\nThis role requires hands‑on work with the integration surface that matters to our customers, including REST APIs, webhooks, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. You will drive technical conversations with engineering teams at customer organizations and operate as a technical partner internally to ensure that solution requirements are clearly represented.\n\nIf you’re a developer or technologist who loves discussing technology, working closely with customers across industries, and possesses a problem‑solving, can‑do mindset, we’d love to meet you as you’ll be joining a team that delivers real value through an industry‑leading product.\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Software Engineer with direct customer engagement.\n\nStrong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and integration patterns.\n\nHands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, and familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).\n\nProficiency with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go.\n\nExperience designing and implementing enterprise integrations.\n\nProven ability to work cross‑functionally and partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support.\n\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage engineering and executive audiences.\n\nAbility to prioritize responsibilities while adapting to a rapidly changing environment.\n\nWhy Rootly?\nWe’re not just another startup.
