Their teams collaborate across Europe and APAC to manage complex infrastructure ecosystems while ensuring compliance, scalability, and long-term operational stability.About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Transition Program Manager to lead complex provider onboarding and infrastructure transition programs across Europe and APAC. This role will serve as the central coordination point between internal infrastructure teams, incumbent vendors, and new service providers to ensure smooth and business-safe transitions. The ideal candidate will drive governance, operational readiness, risk management, and stakeholder alignment while minimizing disruption to critical services. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role requiring strong infrastructure knowledge, program delivery expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale global transitions across multiple datacenters.ResponsibilitiesDefine and maintain the overall transition roadmap, critical path, and site-by-site onboarding milestones.Establish regional governance workstreams and manage SteerCo, RAID logs, and executive-level reporting.Ensure delivery alignment with contractual commitments, Statement of Work (SoW), and cost/quality targets.Coordinate site readiness assessments across multiple countries, including inventory validation, connectivity, and hardware/OS service scope alignment.Manage local constraints across Europe and APAC, including regulatory requirements and vendor dependencies.Validate provider acceptance criteria and track completion of training, runbooks, SOPs, and CMDB data.Confirm service desk integration (L2/L3) and ensure provider access to required tools and environments.Enforce a no-transition policy until minimum operational readiness is achieved for incident, change, problem, and patching management.Validate backup and restore procedures, disaster recovery readiness, and security/privileged access management.Maintain a comprehensive RAID register and drive mitigation actions to protect business continuity.Ensure compliance with GDPR, data residency laws, and audit requirements before services move into steady-state operations.Lead cross-functional collaboration between Infrastructure Operations, Security, Procurement, and Application Owners.Challenge providers constructively to ensure operational readiness beyond documentation and “paper readiness.”Manage the exit process for incumbent providers and oversee the hypercare stabilization phase for new providers.Deliver key program artifacts including Program Charter, RAID Log, Knowledge Transfer Plan, Operational Readiness Checklist, and Service Acceptance Reports.Ensure successful transition delivery with zero major unplanned business disruptions and SLA readiness before handover.Must have skills8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure project or program management.Proven experience managing large-scale service provider transitions or outsourcing programs.Experience leading global transition programs across European and APAC operating environments.Strong understanding of datacenter operations, storage, networking, databases, and hybrid cloud concepts.Strong familiarity with ITIL-based processes and ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow.Knowledge of infrastructure automation concepts such as Ansible and Terraform.Understanding of CMDB, asset management, and Identity/Privileged Access Management (IAM/PAM).Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive outcomes across matrixed regional teams.Experience defining operational acceptance criteria and managing cutover and steady-state handovers.Strong RAID management and evidence-based decision-making skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical risks for executive stakeholders.Must be based in Europe and willing to travel within Europe at least twice per month.
