Supports existing systems and may be responsible for leading technical aspects of a project.\nThe ideal candidate is proficient in Java, Spring/Spring Security/Spring Boot, SQL, as well as being familiar with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML elements. They will also need to have experience with .NET Development and is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications built on Microsoft's .NET framework using languages such as C#, VB.NET, and F#.\nThis role works closely with product owners, architects, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions. This role will start out mainly in Java and they will be responsible for getting other team members up to speed on C# and the .Net framework. The work will eventually transition into more C#, .Net project work as we bridge the gap between our legacy applications and our cloud modernization effort.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Security as well as C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, or .NET 6/7+\nDevelop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services\nIntegrate applications with databases using Entity Framework (EF) / EF Core and SQL Server\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies\nWrite clean, maintainable, and scalable code following industry best practices\nConduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance optimizations\nMaintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.\nEnsure application security using best practices such as authentication, authorization, and OWASP guidelines\nCreate documentation and participate in architectural discussions\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n6+ years of back-end development experience\nStrong proficiency in Java as well as C# and the .NET ecosystem\nExperience with Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Security\nExperience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API\nWorking knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ\nFamiliarity with Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault)\nKnowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns\nExperience with unit testing (xUnit, MSTest, NUnit)\nStrong understanding of REST architecture\nProficiency with Git and CI/CD\nExcellent debugging and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with microservices architecture\nKnowledge of Docker and containerized deployments\nExposure to Blazor, React, or Angular\nExperience with message brokers like Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or Kafka\nBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from OpenKyber to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
