{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"5635f08ba3e2cd9c8d3d3e5d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5635f08ba3e2cd9c8d3d3e5d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/5635f08ba3e2cd9c8d3d3e5d","title":"Lead Electrical Engineer","description":"Must have BS electrical engineering degree- PE license would be a plus\n10+ years of exp, preference for pharma exp or heavy instrumentation industries/manufacturing/nuclear/energy\nNeed heavy electrical engineering exp but also some instrumentation\nHands on, willing to step in anywhere, collaborative- will be working with multiple different teams, forward thinking, sustainability\nPrimary Responsibilities for Role Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer for the pharmaceutical industry.\nWill be required to manage assigned scope, cost, and schedule for responsible duties.\nWill work in all phases of capital projects: planning, design, procurement, construction and start-up:\nDesign of low voltage power distribution and motor control.\nResponsible for selection and sizing of instrumentation based on P&IDs.\nSelects control system hardware based on site standards.\nPrepares equipment specifications and bid packages.\nPerforms vendor & bid evaluations, progress monitoring and attendance of factory acceptance testing.\nResponsible to field supervise contractors during construction to ensure safety, quality and schedule.\nResponsible for providing contractors answers to questions that arise during construction.\nPerforms equipment start-up, develops and executes commissioning protocols and prepares turnover packages for the site.\nDevelops single lines, motor control schematics and loop sheets.\nSizes electrical components based on NFPA 70.\nModifies existing or develops new specifications to meet requirements of project scopes.\nCoordinates with other disciplines throughout design, construction and startup.\nProvides initial configuration settings for VFDs and Motor Starters.\nCommunication - Will be responsible for providing communications (verbal/written) within area of responsibility.\nUse/demonstrate problem solving skills in order to best support and meet the needs within area of responsibility.\nPromotes a collaborative and cooperative environment which embraces the ability to work effectively within teams.\nCapable of adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) - Compliance, Change Control, Quality Oversight, Validation.\nEducation and Experience Requirements Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.\nProfessional registration and/or certifications as appropriate.\nMinimum of 5 years of related experience. Experience in Biotech, Pharmaceutical or Chemical Industry preferred.\nMinimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.\nProfessional registration and/or certifications as appropriate.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience.
