Project Engineer (Miami)

Role OverviewThe Project Engineer plays a critical execution role in supporting the delivery of façade projects from design through installation. This position ensures seamless coordination between engineering, project management, fabrication, and field operations.The Project Engineer is responsible for maintaining alignment between technical design, project scope, schedule, and execution. This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.This is a hands-on, detail-intensive role serving as a key link between the office and the field—ensuring that drawings, materials, and information flow accurately and efficiently to support on-time, high-quality project delivery.Key Responsibilities1. Project CoordinationSupport Project Managers in executing project plansTrack and manage project documentation, timelines, and deliverablesCoordinate between:EngineeringFabricationProcurementField operations2. Submittals & RFIsPrepare and track:SubmittalsShop drawingsRequests for Information (RFIs)Ensure all submittals meet project specifications and deadlinesMaintain organized submittal logs and status tracking3. Drawing & Design SupportReview engineering drawings for accuracy and constructabilityAssist in coordination between design intent and field executionIdentify discrepancies or conflicts and escalate appropriatelySupport revision control and document updates4. Procurement & Material TrackingAssist with tracking material orders and delivery timelinesCoordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment with project schedulesMaintain procurement logs and identify potential delays5. Field SupportAct as a liaison between office and job siteSupport field teams with:Technical clarificationDrawing interpretationIssue resolutionParticipate in site visits as needed6. Project Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate and organized project filesTrack:Change ordersProject updatesKey milestonesSupport reporting needs for project and leadership teams7.
