Patient Care Secretary - Full-Time
The Secretary, Patient Care provides clerical support to patient care teams, ensuring accurate documentation, organized files, and timely follow-up.Evaluate and verify documentation accuracy; maintain patient files and records.Prepare reports and obtain physician signatures on orders.Manage patient charts, mailing documentation, and follow-up tasks.Print reports, order equipment, and communicate patient updates via paging.Track admissions, certifications, census, and physician itineraries.Assist in scheduling and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.Maintain compliance with policies, licenses, and regulations.Support team efforts, order supplies, and perform related duties as assigned.Requires high school diploma, computer skills, flexibility, and ability to lift/move weight. May serve as interim department leader and must adhere to EEOC policies.
