Your Impact * Provide entry-level technical assistance in the design and development ofmechanical systems for building and infrastructure projects.Assist with HVAC system design including air distribution, hydronic systems,and temperature controls.Support the preparation of construction documents, specifications, andtechnical reports.Collect, compile, and analyze engineering data from drawings, schematics, andfield observations to support project development.Assist in conducting research and site inspections to evaluate existingconditions and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.Perform routine engineering calculations (e.g., load calculations) undersupervision.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, structural,and architectural professionals.Ensure work is delivered in alignment with WSP quality, safety, andperformance standards. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.0–1 years of relevant internship or professional experience.Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and building systems(HVAC, controls, plumbing).Familiarity with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD or Revit.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiplepriorities. Preferred Qualifications Internship or co-op experience in consulting engineering or building design.Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain.Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, IECC, local buildingcodes).Interest in markets such as healthcare, commercial, higher education, orscience & technology. Compensation:Expected Salary: $68,200- $93,800 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faithbelieves it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successfulapplicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition tointernal equity and specific geographic location.
