Your team builds the purchase experiences that millions of viewers use daily and the payment infrastructure that enables 7+ million creators to earn a living doing what they love.\n\nThis is a hands-on leadership role where you will own real technical problems: orchestrating payments across multiple third-party vendors, maintaining sub-second response times at global scale, modernizing legacy systems while keeping the lights on, and ensuring every transaction is accurate down to the penny. You'll lead a team of ~5-7 engineers, many of them senior, and you'll be expected to go deep on architecture decisions alongside them.\n\nWhat makes this role unique is its position at the center of Twitch’s business. Payments touch every monetization product. You'll collaborate daily with product, data science, fraud prevention, compliance, and finance teams.
