Stock Admin Manager
We are seeking an experienced Stock Manager to lead and support the transition of our equity administration platform from Carta to Equity Edge. This role will be responsible for managing the implementation process, ensuring accurate migration of equity data, maintaining compliance, and supporting ongoing stock administration activities.The ideal candidate has strong equity administration experience, hands-on knowledge of stock plan systems, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, HR, Payroll, and external vendors.Key ResponsibilitiesEquity System ImplementationLead the implementation and migration from Carta to Equity Edge.Partner with internal stakeholders and external implementation teams to define project timelines, requirements, and deliverables.Review, validate, and reconcile equity data prior to and after migration.Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or system issues and drive resolution.Support configuration of stock plans, grant types, vesting schedules, employee records, and transaction history in Equity Edge.Coordinate user acceptance testing and ensure the system is ready for go-live.Develop process documentation, controls, and internal workflows for the new platform.Stock AdministrationManage day-to-day equity administration activities, including grants, exercises, releases, terminations, cancellations, and employee updates.Maintain accurate equity records and ensure timely processing of stock plan transactions.Support preparation of board approvals, grant documentation, and equity-related reporting.Assist with capitalization table management and reconciliation.Partner with Legal and Finance on compliance, reporting, and audit requests.Support employee equity education and respond to equity-related inquiries.Compliance and ReportingEnsure equity administration practices comply with company stock plans, internal policies, and applicable regulations.Assist with Section 16, Rule 144, Form 3921, ASC 718, and other equity-related reporting as applicable.Support annual audit, tax, and financial reporting processes.Maintain strong controls around equity data integrity, approvals, and transaction processing.Qualifications5+ years of stock administration, equity compensation, or related experience.Hands-on experience with Carta, Equity Edge, or similar equity administration platforms.Prior experience with an equity system implementation or migration strongly preferred.Strong understanding of stock options, RSUs, restricted stock, ESPP, exercises, releases, cancellations, and vesting schedules.Knowledge of private and/or public company equity administration practices.Strong Excel skills and experience with data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage highly sensitive information.Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.CEP designation or progress toward CEP preferred.IPO experience desired
