Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.\nIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek, you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.\nWhat you’ll do:\nPlan and execute method development, method validation and method transfer studies independently and as part of a team\nProvide high-level evaluation of complex chromatography separations and data sets\nEngage in complex conversations with clients (study design, validation questions, etc.)\nGuide clients based on an understanding of the regulatory environment.\nWrite complex reports for development and method validation studies\nWork with group members to advance separation technology for the organization through knowledge of the field and innovative problem‑solving\nDevelop new methods to address customer requests\nAs a member of the chromatography team the individual is responsible for supporting studies for:\nSafe operation of the instruments\nAppropriate sample preparation\nApply existing lab methods\nTroubleshoot problems and perform investigations when necessary\nRepair and maintenance of the instruments\nClearly communicates technical information and project status to clients and internally through written and oral manner\nUses computer systems and software programs - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), data acquisition programs - to acquire and document results\nEffectively collaborates with colleagues on laboratory techniques, sample preparation, instrumentation, data analysis, documentation, and safety\nParticipates in the evaluation and recommendation of new equipment and technology\nEnsures compliance of company/client SOP, protocols, safety policies, methods, or other procedures with government rules and regulations\nThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.\nMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:\nExpected level of experience would conform to: BS in Chemistry or related degree + 10 years of work experience\nMS in Chemistry or related degree + 5 years of work experience\nPhD in Chemistry or related degree\n\nExperience with chromatography data systems for data collection and processing. Experience with OpenLab preferred.\nExperience and knowledge of various separation principles including reversed phase, normal phase, hydrophilic interaction and ion-exchange chromatography\nExcellent organization/multitasking, project management, and communication skills\nExcellent teamwork ability to integrate expertise into multi-technique solutions to complex problems\nStrong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, including data interpretation/analysis\nAbility to generate client reports and supporting documentation\nStrong computer skills (Windows, MS Office)\nIntertek: Total Quality.
