The Field Foreman will be responsible for site related activities, working with the Field Superintendent to ensure that jobs are being executed in an efficient manner.\nEssential Function\nEnsure / Audit Field Progress Reports to ensure accuracy\nCertified to run and able to train employees on typical equipment found on large jobs. This would include lull, skid steer loaders, aerial equipment such as man lifts, Boom lifts, etc.\nQualified to operate a 35-ton crane is a plus\nResponsibilities include:\nCommunicate any problems with fieldwork to the Field Superintendent and assist in resolving those problems.\nCommunicate with the Field Superintendent regarding job schedules and performance issues that may arise.\nEnsure that all HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed.\nAssist with the maintenance of HMT owned equipment as needed.\nAssist the Field Superintendent in identifying scope of work changes.\nCoordinate communication among your team members, the customer, and subcontractors as needed.\nEnsure that all QA/QC policies and procedures are being followed.\nAssist with the training of employees as needed\nResponsible for the training of crew members in tank building.\nAssume the site related project duties of Field Superintendent when they are scheduled for vacation or take personal time away from the job.\nWork closely with all the team to promote a positive working environment.\nAny other task or duty as assigned or required.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n3+ years’ experience in the AST (Above Ground Storage Tank industry), Minimum 3 years' experience in API 650/653 repair and maintenance.\n3+ years of Supervisory experience in construction and/or industrial environments\nMust be able to weld in all positions with SMAW, FCAW, and SAW\nDetail-oriented, Excellent organizational skills\nAbility to complete all required paperwork associated with safety and QA/QC without assistance.\nAbility to interpret field and fabrication drawings.\nMust be DOT OQ qualified.\nMust have a 3-year clean driver record\nDemonstrated ability to work independently and handle a broad scope of responsibility.\nThorough understanding of construction scheduling and cost control; comprehensive knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standards; Sound communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills;\nAbility to handle multiple jobs concurrently.\nMaintain accurate Field Progress Reports.\nAble to give clear and concise instructions to multiple employees in the execution of work.\nMust have experience managing multiple crews/ job sites.\nMust be willing to travel for long periods of time\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential functions of this job.
