Employment Coordinator- GSE
MARC, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Employment Coordinator for our Group Supported Employment. The Coordinator is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and development of employment services for individuals with disabilities in group-supported employment settings. This role ensures that services are person-centered, aligned with Agency goals, and compliant with all relevant regulations and best practices. The coordinator will supervise staff, maintain partnerships with employers, and advocate for inclusive work environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee day to day operations of the group supports employment department.
Ensure services meet the needs of the people served and employers.
Hire, supervise, train, and support a team of direct support professionals.
Ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage for all group work sites and cover sites as needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with community employers and work sites.
Coordinate work schedules and expectations with employer partners.
Develop and evaluate job descriptions for all employment sites.
Ensure follow through of all safety and emergency procedures at employment sites.
Review and verify daily notes and production sheets are complete, accurate and in compliance with Agency and regulatory standards.
Develop and evaluate job descriptions at employment sites.
Create and/or update yearly contracts with employers for group supported employment sites to ensure compliance with Agency standards and regulatory standards.
Review staff timecards and mileage for accuracy and completeness.
Facilitate department meetings, staff development, performance evaluations and corrective action.
Complete time studies for people served.
Audit Kardex and med cabinet.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with Agency and regulatory standards
Attend all Agency trainings and meetings.
Monitor the quality of work performed and assist in the resolution of any barriers to ensure successful employment.

Perform other duties as designated by the Director of Employment and Career Services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three years in the human services. Two years in a supervisory role preferred.
Knowledge of supported employment principles, ADA, and person-centered planning.
Knowledge of agency policies and State and Federal laws, policies and regulations.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Knowledge of computer operations and management information systems.
Ability to organize, be flexible, keep a neat work area, and work independently.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to transport people served as needed.
Ability to meet frequent deadlines and handle stressful, hectic situations without loss of efficiency and composure.
Must be able to complete all essential job duties, minimum qualifications, and physical efforts with or without a disability.
PHYSICAL EFFORTS:
Frequent sitting, walking, standing, and driving.
Ability to stand, sit, use a telephone, and type at a computer.
Ability to lift and transfer up to 30 lbs. and occasional lifting of non ambulatory people.
Ability to assist individuals with disabilities in work environments, if needed.
