We offer hands on experience and the opportunity to build a foundation for your career. As part of the GDP, you will have access to support and mentorship from company leaders, technical subject matter experts, and former GDP participants who will all help guide you as you start your career with us.\n\nWe are looking for entry-level engineers in the following discipline: Chemical\n\nGENERAL ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nDevelop multi-discipline (chemical, mechanical, controls, industrial or electrical) proficiency during the program.\nReview technical reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly Energy/Water).\nPerform basic lab tests with supervision of lab manager, prepare daily technical report with supervision.\nProduce SIPOC diagram for the department’s operations, key physical locations.\nParticipate in and lead Continuous Improvement projects.\nGeneral electrical troubleshooting & equipment (starters, VFD, Soft starts & breakers).\nPerform Operational & Cost Studies.\nPerform tasks as an Area Supervisor.\n\nESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)\n\nTime Management: Having the ability to manage and monitor a large number of projects to completion.\nCritical thinking and problem solving: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.\nCommunication: The ability to effectively and clearly communicate information and ideas.\nSelf-starter: Have a strong sense of urgency and is deadline-oriented. The ability to handle multiple projects at one time.\nEmotional Intelligence.\nLeadership: Strong interpersonal skills, and oral/written communication skills.\nInterest in pursuing a career path as a leader in a manufacturing environment.\nProficient Microsoft Office skills, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.\nOutstanding interpersonal skills, the ability to write clearly and accurately.\n\nESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\n\nB.S. or M.S. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college/university.\n0 - 2 years of professional work experience (including internships and co-ops).\nValidated leadership experience through extra-curricular activities, employment and/or internship experiences is required.\nStrong academic record (3.0 GPA or better).\n\nLOCATION:\n\nBaltimore, MD\n\nSALARY PAY RANGE: $63,500 - $105,500 plus bonus\n\nThe pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.\n\nBenefits include healthcare (medical, dental, vision, prescription drugs) available the first of the month following 30 days of employment, 401(k) with match, life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability, vacation, holiday and sick time.\n\nASR Group is an equal opportunity employer.
