HP Indigo Digital Press Operator

We are a digital printing company located in Deer Park, NY. We are currently looking to hire a digital press operator who will be responsible for maintaining the high quality level of printing we are known for. Responsibilities: Daily operation of our HP Indigo digital press. Perform daily maintenance on digital press (change inks, clean blankets, etc.). Work closely with our production manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of jobs. Ensure consistent and accurate printing: quality check for color/position/marks, etc. Must be extremely detail oriented. Assist in the finishing of jobs (laminate, score/fold, etc.). Complete jobs quickly and efficiently. Requirements: Must have High School diploma or equivalent. At least 1-year experience in printing or working with similar equipment (2-3 years preferred). Must have basic computer skills. Must have color / print knowledge. Ability to understand written or verbal instructions and apply them to daily tasks. Must have experience working with machinery/ have the ability to operate daily maintenance on our digital press. Must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional tight deadlines. Salary is dependent on experience.
