This location has six production lines producing food up to 6 days per week w/ two 10 hrs shifts daily.\nNestle is hiring for a Heat Seal Operator.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities\n\nSets up and operates heat seal machine.\n\nChanges and loads film.\n\nMonitors sealing temperatures, air pressure, and sealing times.\n\nChecks for proper sealing and records findings every 15 minutes.\n\nMonitors transfer points before and after heat seal to ensure package transfer is completed without product loss.\n\nOperates Protein Detector machine and documents product rejects.\n\nLoads pictorials into Kliklok and clears jams.\n\nRestarts line when line is down.\n\nEnsures line is set at proper line speed.\n\nAssists checkweigher with reworks.\n\nModels the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.\n\nPerforms all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.\n\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBending, pushing, pulling\n\nBasic computer data entry is required\n\nWork overtime as needed\n\nHigh School Diploma/GED preferred\n\n90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred\n\nMust have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.\n\nMust have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.\n\nMust be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, safety rules.\n\nMust be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences in English to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures.\n\nMust be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others a collaboration as a team.\n\nPay: - per hour\n\nBonus Eligibility:Yes\n\nThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
