If you want to work with the most talented people on Earth furthering space exploration for humanity, come join us.\r\nVast is looking for a Post Processing Technician, reporting to the Fabrication Supervisor, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human- rated space stations. This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Hawthorne location. In this role you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment where quick communication and effective execution are key.\r\n Responsibilities\r\n\r\nPerform sample collection, such as Particle and NVR .\r\nHandle solvents and other chemicals.\r\nMaintain lot number traceability and serialization of parts.\r\nMaintain Inventory of lab consumables.\r\nPrecision cleaning Class 1-5 in support of all Vast programs.\r\nWork in pre-clean and cleanroom environments according to proper protocols.\r\nMaintain cleanliness of the lab.\r\nAnalyze and implement projects to improve the work center.\r\nProvide technical support of chemical processing within Vast.\r\nEnsure all processes are available, monitoring processing and lab equipment condition/replacement needs, tracking parameters to ensure safety of hardware and operators as well as product, ensure all documentation is current and coordinate with EH&S.\r\nManage chemical inventory of the production line and chemical laboratory.\r\nPerform chemical additions and adjustments of process chemistry based on analytical data and trends.\r\nSolve and troubleshoot chemical processing difficulties.\r\nComputer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.\r\nUtilizing a Jib Crane to move heavy parts from various locations.\r\nUsing multiple machines to perform laser part marking .\r\nMust be able to lift up to 25lbs . unassisted .\r\n\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\n\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalency  \r\n3 + years of experience working in Precision Clean Line.\r\n2+ years of experience Performing Cleanness Verification Process.\r\n\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\n\r\nKnowledge of the handling of any type of lifting equipment, with a preference for a Jib Crane.\r\nKnowledge of Nitric and Citric passivation, cleaning, and anodizing.\r\nExperience working under pressure and to tight deadlines.\r\n Experience documenting work in official records or work reports.\r\nEagerness and demonstrated record of working as a member of small teams to accomplish tasks safely and efficiently.\r\nDemonstrated attention to detail and careful work practices around industrial hazards.\r\nComputer literate, able to follow instructions and record day to day activities.\r\nKnowledge of working with automatic particle machines and various types of borescopes\r\n\r\nPay Range\r\n\r\nPost Processing Technician I: $20.00 - $29.00\r\nPost Processing Technician  II: $24.00-$34.00\r\nPost Processing Technician  III: $28.00-$40.00\r\n\r\nPay Range: California\r\n$20—$40 USD\r\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\r\n \r\nBase salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
