You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product stability, optimize performance, and deliver seamless user experiences across Android, iOS, and web environments. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in our testing frameworks and automation processes, making a tangible impact on our software solutions.\nResponsibilities\nThread Test Developer: Design, implement, maintain, and evolve the automated test suite for the assigned operational thread. Each Test Developer contributes to creating automated test scenarios directly derived from thread acceptance criteria, writing and maintaining automated test code, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, triaging failures, and identifying whether defects stem from test issues or system defects.\nGiven the program’s continuous integration environment and the requirement to test SIGINT ground processing capabilities with frequent software drops and high-complexity interfaces, the volume of automated test development and maintenance is significant and ongoing.\nThread Integrator: Integration engineering support is required to assemble and configuration-control the integrated baseline of subsystem software, data sets, and automated tests across all sprints. The Thread Integrator performs test execution, captures and organizes verification evidence, manages the defect life cycle (including triage, routing, tracking, and closure verification), and collaborates directly with Test Developers to identify and distinguish system defects from test defects.\nContinuous integration events occur throughout the program, and each build requires environment preparation, system assembly, execution of regression and new-capability tests, analysis of failures, root-cause participation, and reporting of results. The Integrator also ensures alignment with external programs, maintains traceability to acceptance criteria, and updates integration workflows as new capabilities are introduced.\nAutomated tests must be continuously updated to reflect updated ICDs, new acceptance criteria, evolving simulator data, and changes to subsystem behavior.\nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as TestNG, Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber to ensure robust test coverage for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.\nDesign and execute functional, system, performance, load, and user acceptance tests to validate software quality across diverse environments.\nCreate detailed test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications; perform thorough test case design and review processes.\nImplement and manage test automation frameworks integrating CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and TFS to streamline testing workflows.\nConduct root cause analysis for defects identified during testing phases; collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues using debugging tools and SQL queries.\nPerform API testing for RESTful web services using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI; validate data integrity with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, or DB2 databases.\nParticipate in Agile software development cycles by contributing to requirements gathering, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups; utilize Jira or HP ALM for defect tracking and test management.\nSupport system integration testing involving service-oriented architecture (SOA), web services (SOAP/REST), and MVC frameworks; ensure compatibility across operating systems including Windows and Linux.\nEngage in performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools to evaluate system scalability;
