Floral Designer

Description: We’re on the hunt for a designer to jump into our team for our busiest season yet. This role will consist of both in-studio designing and on-site execution. This will be a 1099 contract role beginning in September 2024 with the potential to continue through May 2025 and beyond.Skills Required: 1+ years hands-on floral experience Reliable transportation Flexible weekend schedule ResponsibilitiesIn-Studio:Work hands-on with fresh flowers, plants, etc.Learn & execute floral design recipes in a timely and thoughtful mannerMulti-task in a fast-paced high-volume environmentExhibit design skills and understanding of aesthetics, color and design techniquesOn-Site:Transport and setup events at multiple venues across the valley Demonstrate top-notch communication skills and follow venue protocolsProblem solve + live design onsite Strike and cleanup of eventsSchedule30-40 Hours TotalEstimated at 20 hours in studio + 10-20 hours onsiteEventsOnsite events will be scheduled on a case-by-case basisPay$17+/hour based on experience
