Lateral-entry candidates may be eligible for an adjusted starting salary commensurate with verified years of full-time sworn law enforcement experience, in accordance with City pay plans and policies. All candidates must meet the standards established by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.Selection ProcessQualified applicants who meet minimum requirements will be invited to participate in a written examination and physical assessment.
