Job Title: Data ArchitectDepartment: Clinical Applications and Program ManagementLocation: Riedman Campus, 100 Kings HighwayRochester, NY 14610-0757, (Onsite & Remote)Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pmPosition SummaryAs a Data Architect at Rochester Regional Health, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architecture that supports our healthcare initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable data architectures that meet the current and future needs of the organization.Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data architecture and governance practices.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree preferred.Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Hadoop, Spark).Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau). Proven experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare data standards and regulations.Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL.Experience with data integration tools and technologies (e.g., ETL, data warehousing, data lakes).Strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Certification in Snowflake Snopro, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Qlikview Developer Certification.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree required.
