As a truly client-focused firm, our highly trained and experienced consultants consider it their mandate to help client organizations achieve a 'quantum state.Position: DevOps Automation EngineerLocation: New Brunswick, NJ (Onsite)Duration: Full-time with Quantum Integrators Job Description:DevOps Development role involves providing configuration management, automation, and compliance solutions for hybrid multi-cloud and on-premises environments.Core Responsibilities:Chef & Ruby Development: Design, develop, and maintain Chef cookbooks, custom resources, and Ruby libraries for both application and platform workloads.Compliance Automation: Create and maintain InSpec profiles and policy-driven automation to ensure security and compliance standards are met.CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated cookbook testing and promotion into Jenkins pipelines.Infrastructure & Platform Support: Support Linux and Windows SCM client health and develop related remediation automation.Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform unit, BDD, and integration testing for all delivered cookbooks and participate in code reviews and troubleshooting.Documentation & Training: Produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, deployment instructions, and user guides, and lead knowledge transfer sessions for operations teams.Technical Skills Required:Configuration Management: Expert-level Chef development (Cookbooks, Custom Resources).Programming/Scripting: Proficient in Ruby for infrastructure-as-code.
