Engineering Technician","description":"Job Description\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\nRole: Construction Engineering Technician I\r\nLocation: Janesville, WI\r\nJob Type: Fulltime- Onsite\r\n\r\nAs a Civil Engineering Technician / Civil Designer , you will support our civil engineering team on a wide range of projects, including transportation, land/site development, municipal infrastructure, and facility improvement projects.\r\nThis role offers tremendous opportunity for learning and career growth and is ideal for someone with a foundation in drafting or civil technology, or a strong desire to learn.\r\nYou will work closely with Project Leaders and other team members to assist with design, drafting, construction inspection, and project documentation.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nAssist with civil design and drafting for site development, transportation, and infrastructure projects\r\nPrepare and revise site plans and construction documents\r\nPerform quantity take-offs and quantity verification\r\nSupport construction inspection activities and maintain proper field documentation\r\nAssist Project Leaders with day-to-day project support\r\nMaintain accurate and organized project records and files\r\nCollaborate with the project team to help meet project schedules, budgets, and client expectations\r\n\r\nKnowledge & Experience (or Willingness to Learn):\r\n\r\nSite plan design and plan preparation\r\nMunicipal infrastructure projects\r\nPrivate land development projects\r\nConstruction inspection and documentation practices\r\nAutoCAD (experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate)\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\nBasic knowledge of drafting and/or civil engineering technician duties\r\nValid driver's license and driving record acceptable to company insurance requirements\r\nStrong initiative, self-motivation, and willingness to learn\r\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team\r\nClear communication skills and ability to work closely with a Project Leader\r\nStrong sense of accountability and attention to detail\r\nAbility to maintain clear, concise,
