You will be tasked to support a quality system that meets the stringent requirements of Array Technologies.\n\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nSupervision and Leadership:\nLead and supervise a team of quality inspectors, providing direction, guidance, and support.\nSet performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.\nFoster a culture of accountability, quality consciousness, and continuous improvement within the quality inspection team.\n\nQuality Control:\nDevelop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.\nConduct regular inspections of manufactured products to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities.\nWork closely with production teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.\n\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.\nGenerate reports summarizing quality performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.\nCommunicate quality-related information effectively to management, production teams, and other stakeholders.\nTraining and Development:\nProvide training and guidance to quality inspectors on inspection techniques and standards.\nKeep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality management, and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.\nSupport the professional development of team members through mentorship and opportunities for skill enhancement.\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement in quality inspection procedures, equipment, and systems.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and drive efficiencies.\nActively participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.\nProven experience in quality control/inspection within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA).\nPrevious experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.\nProficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment, as well as computer software for data analysis and reporting.\nPrior experience interpreting control chart results, process capability, and specification limits.\nPrior experience reading blueprints (drawings), including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).\n\nPreferred qualifications:\nQuality technician experience in a standardized environment (ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949), with a proven track record of results. Certification as an American Society for Quality CQT is preferred\nExperience knowing which measurement and test equipment (M&TE) tools are appropriate for various applications and how to assess tool accuracy and precision including CMMs such as Faro Arm and have an understanding of the concept of calibration standards hierarchy and traceability for M&TE.\nAbility to identify and segregate nonconforming material and be familiar with the material review process.\nAbility to work across multiple organizations in a fast paced, smaller company environment\nExperience working with heavy machinery, forklift, or other related equipment\nPhysical Demands:\nLifting requirements: 50lbs\nStanding hours: 90%\nComputer hours: 10%\nWork environment is fast paced; noise and temperature levels can vary.\n\nPre-Employment Requirements:\nMust pass a drug screen.\nMust pass a background check.\nMust pass a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE)\nSafety:\nIf your role requires the wearing of steel-toed boots, the company will reimburse employees $50 per pair every two years.\nArray operates under strict guidelines and safety standards.
