Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Description: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Coach and Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, emphasizing community-based coaching to help them achieve personal goals and enhance their quality of life. Job Duties: Support individuals in participating in community activities, including transportation to social and recreational events. Implement and follow individualized support plans that address each person’s unique needs and behavioral goals. Monitor and document individuals' progress, providing feedback to inform adjustments in support strategies. Offer emotional support while fostering positive and respectful relationships with individuals, empowering them to express their needs and preferences. Assist individuals in developing skills for community integration and engagement. Collaborate with families, team members, and community resources to enhance support networks and opportunities for individuals. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in community coaching or behavioral support, preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to person-centered support. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
