Primarily responsible for assisting in packaging of product of internal and external use, and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.\n\nThe pay rate for this role is $22.65 per hour.\n\nThe schedule for this role is Monday- Friday 11pm-7am.\n\nMauser Packaging Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, paid time off, and other competitive benefits.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nOperate all manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely\nSafely operate the machine to properly produce product and follow proper procedures for packaging to external customers\nRemove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow\nDemonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time\nMaintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space\nResponsible for safety and quality throughout production\nClean equipment and area before, during, and after shift\nMaintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices\nFollow proper sorting and restacking instructions given by the quality department\nAssist in changeovers when called up by supervisor or front-end operators\nPerforms other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager\n\nRequirements:\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nExperience working in a Manufacturing Environment\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment\nUnderstand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training\nMust be able to understand verbal and written instructions\nTroubleshoot problems and report issues\nMust work well in a team environment\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nPlant facility runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week consistently, excluding designated holidays or prearranged shut down.\nLine production is constant flow approximately 35 to 39 drums an hour.\nAbility to be on feet consistently 8 hours up to a 12 hours per scheduled shift\nWalking during this standing time in work cell, continuous rotation between mold machine, tester machine, cutter machine and grinder machine.\nRepetitive turning & twisting during the leak testing steps of production.\nReaching above shoulders, hand and wrist repetitive simple grasping to pick up drum, flip drum to put it on the cutter machine, and drum lid assembly.\nUsage of lid assembly closure bar and cutting knife to complete drum manufacturing process.\nShifts can be scheduled 5 days consecutive Monday to Friday or alternating 2-week rotation any of the production working days.\nUse of hands and fingers to perform job function\nAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climb, minimal, only as needed.\nAbility to lift as needed up to 35lbs during scheduled shift\nAbility to lift consistently up to 20lbs for full shift to move drum through and complete manufacturing process.\nThe work environment is inside, however not temperature controlled.
