The selected candidate for this position will play a key role in the development of hardware and firmware for commercial human spaceflight modules.\n\nKey Duties:\n\nDesign, develop, and test electrical systems and components for the Axiom Space Station.\nCreate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.\nPerform integration and testing of electrical systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues.\nSupport design reviews of power and hardware systems as well as other spacecraft systems.\nCollaborate with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers.\nPerform project engineering functions across all Avionics projects.\n\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:\n\nDue to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time.\nAbility to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.\n10 or more years of experience.\nExperience designing, developing, testing, and verifying human spaceflight electrical systems and components.\nProficiency in using simulation tools to analyze circuit performance.\nUnderstanding of PCB layout, manufacturing, EEE parts selection, and environmental qualifications.\nBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related technical discipline.\n\nDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:\n\nExperience with coding languages, specifically Python and MATLAB.\nKnowledge of EMI/EMC design principles.\nExperience with VHDL/FPGA Core Design.\nExperience with analog, digital, or mixed signal multilayer PCB design.\nAbility to interface with mechanical and thermal subsystems.\nExperience with high-speed signals such as DDR, Ethernet, and USB.\n15 or more years of related experience.\n\nBusiness Profile:\n\nCimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
