The role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and mission ops, reporting into program leadership.What you will be doingLead execution of the ground architecture implementation roadmap across engineering, mission ops, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software teamsCoordinate delivery of the target ground architecture supporting multiple satellite constellationsDrive cross functional planning, execution, dependency management, and milestone tracking across technical organizationsPartner with engineering leadership to align architecture decisions with operational and scalability goalsEstablish program governance, technical reviews, and executive reportingIdentify program risk early and drive resolution through data driven decisionsCoordinate readiness activities for deployment, integration, verification, and operational transitionWhat you will bringMust be a US citizenBachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or related fieldTypically 12+ years leading complex technical programs in aerospace, space systems, defense, robotics, or telecomExperience managing large cross functional programs spanning software, infrastructure, hardware, and operationsExperience delivering ground systems, mission operations systems, satellite operations infrastructure, or similarly complex distributed systemsProven ability to build integrated program plans, set technical milestones, and manage dependencies across engineering orgsStrong grasp of systems engineering principles: integration, verification, validation, operational readinessActive US security clearance, or ability to obtain one, desirableWhy joinOwn a major ground architecture modernization effort across multiple live satellite constellationsHigh visibility role reporting into program leadership, real influence on long term platform strategyITAR: This role is subject to US export control regulations.
