Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting with the dispensing of medication, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The successful candidate will contribute to our pharmacy's operations by maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesAssist in dispensing medication by printing pick tickets, locating the corresponding drugs or supplies, and entering the correct quantity, lot, and National Drug Code (NDC) into the computer software.Support inventory management, including receiving drugs from suppliers, unpacking, sorting, and recording them into the system.Ensure drugs and supplies are shelved correctly and orderly.Assist with shipping by using appropriate packing for refrigerated or ambient medications, and restocking gel packs and coolers.Maintain accuracy in order processing, ensuring orders are received, picked, and shipped correctly.Collaborate with team members and assist others in the department as needed.Monitor inventory measures, such as drug rotation, expiration dates, and timely order placements.Essential SkillsRegistered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) certification.Experience in retail or mail order pharmacy settings.Strong computer skills.Work EnvironmentThe position is onsite with working hours from 10:30 AM to 7 PM. You will be part of a Fulfillment Type Pharmacy team, which includes 4 pharmacists, 5 technicians, and 3 shippers, working collaboratively to fulfill prescription orders. The work environment is supportive, with a focus on teamwork to meet patient needs and shipping deadlines. Orientation and training on new pharmacy software will be provided to ensure seamless integration into our operations.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, FL.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
