Please apply only who are on GC or US Citizens and local to San Antonio, TX only.\r\nTitle: UI/UX Developer/ Web Developer\r\nLocation: San Antonio, TX (2 to 3 days a week on site)\r\nDuration: 24 Months Contract\r\nPosition Summary We are looking for a hands-on experience User Interface/Experience (UI/UX) Developer/Programmer who can drive and advance our next generation modern digital workplace technology digital initiatives. This person will be the lead resource for communicating and working with business & technology end users to create and support holistic solutions for some high visibility on-going projects.\r\nAs a UI/UX Developer you'll be responsible creating ADA compliant Mobile/Web experiences working with Fullstack application development teams and Adobe DXP/AEM/Analytics stack would be a plus. The developer needs to have a keen understanding ADA/Accessibility compliance standards and platforms(Eg Site Improve) (ADA/WCAG etc) and mitigation best practices to meet application/code compliance on modern web technology stacks especially front-end programming.\r\nAct as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects\r\nCreate clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance\r\nProvide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates\r\nCollaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements\r\nRemain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed\r\nDesign and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups\r\nDesign and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews\r\nHands on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, AngularJS, ReactJs, jQuery etc)\r\nProvide responsive websites apps development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates\r\nAct as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects\r\nCollaborate with business analysts, senior developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements in a SDLC process\r\nResearch, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of frontend designs into the JS/Java codebase\r\nParticipate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for the product UX\r\nDevelop well-structured and maintainable code that follows the best practices and industry standards Work with team members to develop UI prototypes as necessary and validate ideas with a data-driven approach\r\nDesign and develop UI and UX interfaces to meet standards and requirements\r\nRemain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary.\r\nMinimum Qualifications Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs\r\nKnowledge and software development with Adobe Experience Manager ,Sharepoint and Wordpress CMS will be a plus.\r\nHistory of working with cross functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies\r\nExperience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs\r\nExperience with communicating and working with business, technology users to create holistic solutions\r\nSkills, knowledge, and experience using end to end Human centered design-HCD techniques including design, research, and usability\r\nPreferred Qualifications UI/UX design or web developer certifications and training\r\nPrevious experience in the Electric and Gas Utility industry\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or applicable business degree from an accredited university OR relevant business technical experience\r\nExposure to front-end user frameworks (Vue.js, AngularJS, ReactJS, jQuery, etc.)\r\nStrong front-end development experience with a demonstrated focus on digital accessibility and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance\r\nExperience using enterprise accessibility scanning tools (e.g., Site improve, Silktide, or similar) to monitor scores, identify defects, and track remediation progress\r\nAbility to interpret accessibility scan results and translate findings into actionable, code-level fixes\r\nExperience providing guidance and support to designers, developers, and content authors on accessibility best practices and remediation approaches\r\nFamiliarity with document accessibility, including Microsoft Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF accessibility remediation\r\nExperience supporting accessibility across websites, web applications, and digital content, including both legacy and modern platforms\r\nUnderstanding of ADA Title II requirements and collaboration with ADA Coordinators or compliance teams to support organizational conformance efforts\r\nExperience working within Agile ceremonies and methodologies\r\nAbout US Tech Solutions\r\nUS Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
