As a senior member of the team you will work closely with analysts and operators to plan and architect solutions to CNE problems. You’ll have the opportunity to work on every part of the CNE pipeline. You will sit next to operators to understand how they work and how you can support their workflows. Work with analysts to understand their data and build analytics so aid them in making decisions supporting national security. As a senior engineer you will work across multiple projects and provide guidance on frontend and backend design plans. Help the team and customer create robust solutions on everything from big data problems to web app data visualizations.\n\nDevelop webapps to intuitively convey data and analysis.\nDevelop data transforms for every kind of data. (Text, JSON, Databases, XML, configs, etc.).\nFacilitate customer interactions to gather feature requests, new application requirements and understand project and customer needs.\nWork to gain a deep understanding of mission objectives and data to help analysts figure out what the right questions to ask are.\nHelp maintain and architect existing and new applications and transforms to thoughtfully convey a better understanding of analytics and data.\nManage and support mission critical servers supporting CNO projects directly working as a developer of server framework and sysadmin on servers when needed.\n\nPosition Required Skills:\n\nStrong Experience Type script/java script and react or another modern frontend framework(Angular, Vue).\nExperience using python for application development, scripting and data manipulation.\nKnowledge of dataframes (pandas, polars).\nComfortable with SQL as a language and experience with different database flavors (SQLite, Postgress, MySQL).\nExperience working directly with customers and collecting requirements.\nUnderstanding of git and gitlab for source control.\n\nNice to Haves\n\nAWS Certifications.\nDevOps CI/CD Experience.\nExperience with agency data processing and data storage.\nExperience developing using AI Agents.\nCNO Experience.\n\nSWE3 Qualifications:\n\nA minimum of twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.\n\nSalary Range: $241k-$295k (Annually)\n\nThe range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
