Tax Accountant

Job DescriptionOur client, a small but mighty public accounting firm in the Sacramento area, actively seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Tax Accountant to join their expanding team. Salary: $100K-$125K per year (DOE). The qualified candidate has a CPA license and strong GAAP accounting knowledge. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate closely with firm Partners and clients to deliver strategic tax planning, compliance, and consulting servicesOversee and manage client tax filing requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across engagementsServe as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering trust and long-term advisory relationshipsProvide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented team cultureSupport the firm's mission to be a proactive, relationship-driven advisor in every client interactionSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:4+ years of experience in public tax accountingCPA license or active CPA candidacy strongly preferredProven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiencyStrong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and internal teamsExcellent time management and organizational abilities
