This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure in a regulated healthcare environment.\r\nResponsibilities Lead a growing team of DevOps and Automation Engineers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance guidance.\r\nDefine and execute the DevOps roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams including TechOps, Engineering, QA, and Regulatory.\r\nServe as a liaison between technical implementation teams and business stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy with product goals.\r\nOversee automated infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation across AWS and hybrid environments.\r\nEnsure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery for cloud-native deployments.\r\nChampion Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps best practices.\r\nLead improvements to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) and enable frequent, reliable, and secure software delivery.\r\nCollaborate with Engineering and QA to support release automation, rollback strategies, and zero-downtime deployments.\r\nEnsure infrastructure and operations meet regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304.\r\nLead initiatives around security automation, access controls, and audit readiness with InfoSec and Quality teams.\r\nDrive observability, incident response, and system reliability improvements using Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, and similar tools.\r\nSupport cost optimization and resource efficiency efforts in cloud environments.\r\nQualifications Bachelor's Degree (required).\r\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, IT automation, or system administration.\r\n3+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams.\r\nDeep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudTrail, etc.).\r\nExperience with IaC tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.\r\nHands-on experience with hybrid and on-premises software deployment and deployment automation.\r\nUnderstanding of networking, security, and cloud best practices.\r\nProficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\r\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog).\r\nPhysical Demands Sitting; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Standing; walking; reaching with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Lifting/moving up to 10 pounds.
