Position SummaryThe System Administrator is a senior-level, hands-on leader responsible for the post-integration strategic design, development, and administration. We are seeking a technical expert who can perform both high-level system architecture and deep-diveResponsibilitiesMicrosoft 365 & Identity (Primary Focus)Administer and continuously improve Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDriveOwn identity lifecycle management across Microsoft Entra ID, including hybrid identity configuration via Entra ConnectDesign and enforce authentication and access governance policies — MFA, Conditional Access, PIM/PAM, and RBACLead the migration from on-premises Exchange Server to Microsoft 365, including planning, cutover, and post-migration supportLead the migration from on-premises Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID, including hybrid identity strategy and transition planningImplement and manage Microsoft Intune for modern device management, endpoint compliance, and policy enforcementServe as the escalation point for identity, authentication, and M365 platform issuesMonitor platform health and proactively address performance, security, and compliance concernsCollaborate with Security, HRIS, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to support audit and compliance requirementsMaintain accurate documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational standardsOn-Premises Infrastructure & Networking (Secondary Focus)Provide senior-level oversight of Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments, with a strong focus on system uptime and availability across all production and operational systemsSetup, manage, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VLANs, switches, and routing to ensure reliable and secure connectivity across facilitiesDeploy and manage network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve connectivity, performance, and availability issues before they impact operationsAdminister DHCP and DNS services, ensuring accurate IP management and name resolution across the environmentMaintain VMware virtualization infrastructure and support backup and disaster recovery operationsLeverage PowerShell and Bash scripting to automate tasks and bridge on-prem and cloud workflowsQualifications5+ years of experience in systems administration, with significant depth in Microsoft 365 and Entra IDStrong hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive administrationDeep understanding of identity lifecycle management, MFA, Conditional Access, and privileged access managementExperience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Entra Connect, and hybrid identity architecturesExperience with Microsoft Intune for MDM and endpoint complianceSolid understanding of networking fundamentals firewalls, VLANs, switching, routing, DNS, and DHCPExperience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and VLAN segmentation in a multi-site or manufacturing environmentHands-on experience with network and infrastructure monitoring platforms such as PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, or ZabbixDemonstrated track record of maintaining high system uptime in a production or operations-critical environmentProficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administrationProven ability to lead complex migration projects with cross-functional stakeholdersStrong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teamsWorking knowledge of on-premises infrastructure — Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and VMware
