Provides clinical supervision to program counselors and care managers including training and feedback. Assists assigned locations with any clinical related issues that arise.\nEssential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nDevelop long and short-term goals for the behavioral health counselors and care managers\nParticipates in the agency’s strategic and operational planning\nSupervise and evaluate the performance of counselors, care managers and certified peer specialists\nMaintain awareness of advances in behavioral health, to include evidenced based and best practices\nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and programs in collaboration with Clinic Practice Managers\nPlan, organize, and guide the clinical work of the clinic staff to provide continuous active treatment to the individuals served\nSet priorities and implement goals and objectives to meet or resolve identified behavioral health problems through supervision\nProvide and oversee clinical supervision of all S/T and intern staff\nOversee appropriate staffing processes and work with referral processes\nProvide clinical consultation (case study) with all counselors\nReview all data reports impacting clinical work flow and services provided\nOversee crisis intervention in the clinics, providing direct care where needed\nProvide coaching and supervision as needed for any clinical issues arising with staff\nEnsure appropriate clinical coverage for services provided daily\nAll ongoing clinical issues that cannot be addressed daily to be reported to the Clinical Director for any needed action/changes\nEvaluate employees at scheduled intervals, obtain and consider all relevant information in evaluations\nand support staff by giving praise and constructive criticism\nMotivate, coach and mentor staff to improve quantity and quality of work performed and provide\ntraining and development opportunities as appropriate\nPerform work according to all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines of the agency\nAttend seminars, conferences and job related trainings\nFollow agency policy and departmental protocol regarding work schedule, calling in when arriving late or when absent, break and lunch periods and observing provisions of Fair Labor Standards Act\nSubmit leave requests in advance (according to departmental protocol) for annual leave, personal leave, and foreseen sick leave\nSubmit leave requests for unforeseen or emergency sick or personal leave immediately upon return to work and provide documentation for use of leave, as required\nPresent a neat and clean appearance. This role provides basic employment support which requires employee to perform in loud/quiet environments, outdoors/indoors, etc. Travel between Gateway sites and in the community is required.\nWork Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-6:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm\nPhysical Demands:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nEmployee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop.
