This role involves supervising staff, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. They also ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment while supporting team development through training and mentorship.\n\nEssential Job Functions\n\nEnsure adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices ( GMPs ) and safety requirements as established by Pressed Juicery and regulatory agencies.\n\nReview daily production schedules at the start of each shift and assign work to employees, ensuring smooth handovers between shifts.\n\nMonitor employee adherence to break and lunch schedules to ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain production efficiency.\n\nOversee the accurate and timely completion of all production-related paperwork, ensuring compliance and reviewing daily for accuracy.\n\nTrain new and existing employees on production processes, safety procedures, and company standards, ensuring ongoing training is conducted regularly.\n\nFoster a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring that the facility complies with all health and safety regulations.\n\nMaintain and enforce food safety standards, ensuring the facility operates in accordance with food safety protocols and sanitation is consistently upheld.\n\nSupervise the cleaning, sanitizing, and proper storage of equipment and tools to ensure a clean and organized workspace.\n\nLead by example, providing guidance and support to production staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.\n\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with management to implement operational efficiencies.\n\nWork a schedule that aligns with business and performance needs ; the schedule for this position will regularly be 10-hour workdays overnight, Tuesday through Friday.\n\nMust be able to work in a cold environment, lift and carry up to 50 lbs , and perform repetitive tasks safely.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned, especially during employee absences or when manag ing fluctuating production demands.\n\nAttend all mandatory meetings.\n\nQualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; a ssociate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.\n\n2 + years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or production; experience in food manufacturing or beverage production is highly preferred.\n\nDemonstrated experience in supervising or leading teams, with strong leadership skills to motivate, mentor, and develop employees.\n\nM ath skills and the ability to complete detailed paperwork accurately.\n\nFamiliarity with production management systems, machinery, and tools used in a manufacturing environment.\n\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.\n\nBilingual (fluent in Spanish and English).\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members.\n\nAbility to work well in a team-oriented environment and maintain positive working relationships with peers and management.\n\nAbility to handle sensitive company information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times .\n\nCommitment to upholding food safety, quality control, and safety standards, with the ability to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.\n\nAbility to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
