(GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity to join our Contracts and Procurement Team as a Contract Administrator in our Poway, CA office!\n\nUnder close supervision, this role supports business units with contract management tasks such as reviewing proposals, preparing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with export and foreign restrictions, and serving as the main administrative contact for assigned contracts. Responsibilities include interpreting and negotiating contract terms, following company policies, and developing plans to meet contract objectives and deadlines.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAssists in reviewing bids and proposals to ensure they meet company policy and customer solicitation requirements.\nAssists in identifying contract issues and developing solutions.\nParticipates in negotiating and modifying standard contracts and assists in negotiating and modifying non-standard contracts/subcontracts.\nReviews, drafts as necessary, and negotiates terms and conditions of non-disclosure, teaming, license, and memorandum of understanding agreements.\nAdvises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.\nMaintains an awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts/subcontracts, including export considerations.\nMaintains, analyzes, updates, and develops various electronic and hard copy records.\nMay be required to make brief internal presentations.\nMay provide direction to support staff.\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.\nExpected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.\nAdditional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.
