The team delivers high-quality information through activities that include development of essential, building infrastructure capabilities to meet client needs and implementing data standards and governance.\r\nPay And Benefits\r\nCompetitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive\r\nComprehensive health and life insurance and well-being benefits, based on location\r\nPension / Retirement benefits\r\nPaid Time Off and Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.\r\nDTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).\r\nThe Impact You Will Have in This Role\r\nAs a Senior Software Engineer within Enterprise Cloud Services, you will design, build, and support enterprise data platforms that power analytics, regulatory reporting, business intelligence, and operational decision-making across the organization.\r\nYou will partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performing data solutions while driving innovation through data architecture, automation, advanced analytics, and emerging AI technologies.\r\nYour Primary Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and support enterprise data solutions across OLTP, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics platforms.\r\nPartner with business and technology stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver data-driven solutions that support strategic business objectives.\r\nDevelop and optimize database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.\r\nCreate conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting enterprise data initiatives and ECS Trade Repository platforms.\r\nDevelop and automate data processing workflows using Python, Perl, and Shell scripting.\r\nProvide Level3 production support, including incident triage, troubleshooting, rootcause analysis, and issueresolution.\r\nImprove data quality, platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.\r\nCollaborate across architecture, engineering, and business teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.\r\nLeverageAI, GenerativeAI, AgenticAI, MicrosoftCopilot, GitHubCopilot,Kiro, and LLM-based tools to enhance development, automation, analytics, and knowledge discovery.\r\nIncorporate risk and control practices into day-to-day responsibilities, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risk.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.\r\n6–8+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data engineering, database engineering, or enterprise data platform development.\r\nTalent Needed for Success\r\nStrong experience with data warehousing, OLTP systems, business intelligence, and enterprise data solutions.\r\nAdvanced SQL development skills, including stored procedures, functions, views, performance tuning, and query optimization.\r\nHands-on experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.\r\nExperience developing automation and data processing solutions using Python and Shell scripting.\r\nExperience supporting production applications, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.\r\nStrong understanding of data architecture, database design, data quality, and enterprise data management.\r\nAbility to effectively partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nExperience within financial services, capital markets, trade repositories, regulatory reporting, or other highly regulated industries.\r\nKnowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.\r\nExperience with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics technologies.\r\nExposure to AI, GenerativeAI, AgenticAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-enabled engineering tools.\r\nExperience using MicrosoftCopilot, GitHubCopilot, Kiro, or similar AI productivity tools.\r\nUnderstanding of intelligent automation and AI-driven workflow design.\r\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
