The electronics customer service technician will support 4B’s existing and prospective electronics customers by answering technical questions and assisting with troubleshooting product specific application questions.\nWhat You Will Do:\nProvide phone support for customers who need help selecting the correct product or understanding details about a product.\nProvide phone support for troubleshooting application issues with products, including wiring faults, incorrect installation, or damaged parts.\nSend professional e-mails to customers to assist with product selection, troubleshooting, etc.\nProvide technical support to inside and outside sales staff.\nUse electronics testing equipment to test and troubleshoot 4B sensors and systems.\nEvaluate returned products for warranty consideration and produce detailed reports that explain the results of the evaluation.\nUse demonstration equipment and documentation to become proficient and stay up to date in the 4B electronics sensors and systems.\nCreate hands-on demonstrations for training and sales/marketing use.\nPotential Opportunities for Travel.\nWhat You Will Bring:\nExceptional communication and customer service skills.\nSelf-motivated and capable of accomplishing tasks unsupervised.\nExperience with electrical testing tools such as multimeters and benchtop power supplies.\nDesire to learn about products and take on responsibilities.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented.\nExperience with Microsoft Office.\nYour Education and Experience:\n2 years minimum experience in a customer support role\nHigh School Graduate or equivalent (GED)\nBasic computer entry skills\nCandidates with experience in control circuits, relay logic, PLC programming, and reading\nelectrical schematics and oscilloscopes are preferred\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications\nIncentive bonus\nPaid time off\nHealth insurance (Medical, Dental, Life)\n401K\nFinal Details:\nThis position is located on-site in Morton Illinois and is not eligible for remote work.\nRelocation is not available for this position.\nVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.\n4B is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
