With defined requirements, the candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing software tools such as log analysis tools that will help engineers do their work more efficiently. Typical software development life cycle process will be used, and the output will be properly documented to comply with FDA quality system regulations.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThe student will:\nAssist in Software algorithm development, embedded software development & implementation\nDesign, implement and test of software tools\nAssist in software algorithm design and development\nPrepare software design documentation\nConduct software tests for product design improvements\nProvide input into process development and improvement\n\nQualifications\nREQUIREMENTS:\nJunior, Senior, or Grad student pursuing a degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering, biomedical engineering\nStrong design, testing and analytical skills required (e.g. engineering and statistical analysis)\nProficient in C, C++, Python, shell, MATLAB, Simulink\nDemonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal\nExperience in signal processing a plus\nSelf-motivated.
