This essential back-of-house role supports the culinary team by ensuring dishes, utensils, equipment, and food prep areas are sanitized and ready for use. The right candidate takes pride in keeping things clean, can work independently, and contributes to a positive and productive kitchen team culture.WHAT YOU'LL DODishwashing & CleaningOperate the dishwashing machine to clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, and kitchenwareHand-wash larger pots, pans, and specialty items as neededMaintain cleanliness of dish stations, sinks, and surrounding kitchen areasDispose of trash and recycling, following proper proceduresKitchen SupportAssist with basic food prep tasks such as peeling, portioning, or labelingSweep and mop kitchen floors regularly to ensure a safe, sanitary work environmentRestock clean dishes and supplies in designated storage areasHelp unload and store deliveries as directedSafety & EfficiencyFollow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standardsReport maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisorsWork quickly and efficiently to support a fast-paced kitchen environmentAssist with other duties as assigned by chefs or kitchen supervisorsRequirementsATTENTION TO DETAIL IN ACTIONAt Chetola, excellence is built on the details-especially behind the scenes.
