Associate Interior Designer
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as an Associate Interior Designer at slic design in Austin, TX. As an Associate Interior Designer, you will be responsible for assisting senior & principal designers on ground up construction projects, large scale renovations & full-home furnishings projects. You will work on the design, documentation & execution of specific projects, where you serve as project lead. Your tasks will involve space planning, sourcing all hard & soft FF&E, providing a full set of construction documents when needed or collaborating closely with architecture firms to detail the final set of documents. It is important this person feel comfortable working independently on their own projects and managing their time accordingly. This person should have a decent amount of experience in high-end residential interior design.The potential candidate should possess great communication skills as well as an attention to detail. You will be working directly and coordinating meetings and site visits directly with clients, often times without a senior or principal designer present.
