This work is completed utilizing acquired electrical engineering knowledge, AutoCAD Electrical and other engineering and business support software.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.\nEssential Functions. Other duties may be assigned.\nCAD/Drafting/Support Software\nRead, interpret, and edit electrical drawings, technical drawings, and schematics competently.\nCan create electrical design drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.\nWith guidance from senior electrical engineers, able to work from project specifications, reference documents to update and/or create new electrical power and control design documents.\nAssists electrical engineers in performing load and other electrical calculations for current and new designs.\nCan update instrumentation and electrical and control portions of drawings with some guidance.\nAble to program PLC’s and HMI’s and can set up most PID loop designs with some assistance from a senior electrical engineer.\nKnowledgeable of MS Office and similar business-related software and perform basic functions.\nCompetent in the use of BOM’s, parts and other product related items, and with assistance can manage BOM’s and project schedules.\nProblem Solving/Troubleshooting\nAble to work with fellow engineers, designers, and drafters to assist with resolving design challenges.\nCan perform basic electrical trouble shooting and problem solving with oversight.\nActively seeks to resolve current problems, proactively mitigates potential problems.\nTeamwork/Collaboration\nInterfaces with engineering, manufacturing, and operations staff in a productive manner to gain needed information to properly perform electrical design work.\nParticipates in engineering design teams to learn and gain experience of design methods and processes.\nWorks closely with fellow engineers, designers, and drafters to improve quality and efficiency.\nAssists with guiding entry level electrical designers and CAD drafters in the performance of their work.\nOther Essential Duties\nPunctual.
