Physician Hospitalist - Competitive Salary

Hospitalist opportunity in Rio Rancho, NM Great opportunity to join a well-established team of 27 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners at our Rio Rancho location. Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds. As a smaller community hospital, we work closely with our hospital partners to make meaningful changes. Position Highlights:Hospitalists do respond to codes but are not part of the Rapid Response team.Procedures that are required:Paracentesis (2 per month)Lumbar puncture (usually less than one per month)Thoracenteses, small bore chest tube (2 per month. But we can always consult a Pulmonologist for this). Qualifications:Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.Authorized to work in the United graduates are encouraged to apply.
