You will join a diverse skill set team of simulation product development professionals working toward a single product deployment. More specifically, in this role you will be responsible for developing the adaptive web front of Corys rail simulation analysis product. This is a fast paced yet highly rewarding position for a talented and experienced web developer.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nUI/UX Development for a modular web interface using Angular\nFrontend development that consists of a fully responsive and touch-friendly design (Windows/Apple)\nDevelop the interactive web frontend to enhance the look and feel with features that include drag and drop capability, web-based mapping and other interactive interfaces.\nDeploy the end product on the Microsoft Azure cloud and manage the API connections to multiple backend data sources\nCreate data visualizations and reports around the simulation results and log filles\nTroubleshoot and debug the code base using Microsoft Visual Studio.\nParticipate in installation, testing, and corrections with our team and clients\nCreate software updates and work with client on deploying and validation\nRecommend ways to enhance efficiency and productivity\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n2+ years minimum experience in Frontend & UI Focused web development with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular for a responsive web design supported in both Windows and Apple platform\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1-2 years web development experience\n1-2 years of experience building web-based reports and data visualization in an Azure Cloud environment connecting to multiple data sources\n1-2 years of experience with creating and presenting UI/UX design and GUI around client initiatives\n1-2 years of experience in consuming RESTful APIs & Data Integration in a web frontend\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging and object-oriented programming skills\nExcellent communication skills\nSelf-motivated, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently\nQuick to acquire new knowledge and skills\nCreativity in problem-solving and the ability to think outside of the established solutions\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.\n\nDesired Skills\nAngular, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL, XML, Python, C#/UI and batch scripting languages\nAPI/Webservice Integration Knowledge\nGIS Data Knowledge\nReport generation (Scheduled and OnDemand)\nTrello or Jira like Kanban board Experience\nAble to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment\nCreative, resourceful, and innovative problem solver\nProficient in English for oral and written technical communications\nExperience in modeling and simulation and knowledge of the railway industry are a plus\nTeam leadership experience with a desire to grow and improve all team members\nFearless when it comes to diving into complex systems and existing code bases\nEngineering Math for applications in general (mass, acceleration, friction, force, inertia, momentum, work, power, etc)\n\nEmployee Perks:\nRemote work options\nExcellent benefit package, for example – if single 100% of the medical, dental, and visual monthly premium is paid for by the company.
