The role ensures that contractors construct structural elements in compliance with the Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, contract plans , and Special Provisions .\n\nThis position will be Part Time As Needed\n\nOur Hybrid Work Model : Be part of the dynamic culture! Our workplace thrives on a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility. Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment. This position will be located in our Redding, CA office.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProvides independent analysis of technical submittals relating to shoring, falsework and other structural elements as needed\n\nResponsible for the technical and administrative control of the structure elements of a locally administered project\n\nAdministers the documentation of a construction contract’s structural work\n\nReviews change orders, submittals, shop drawings and materials testing. Provide input and direction regarding all aspects of the construction project.\n\nPerforms inspection and engineering support for variety of structure construction engineering projects\n\nWork in conjunction with field inspectors and project team members to ensure project goals are being met\n\nAdministers projects in the absence of Resident Engineer\n\nMonitors and reviews contractors’ construction schedules\n\nPrepares and files daily construction reports, diaries, & other project documents\n\nVerifies acceptability of material incorporated into the project and maintains material and inspection records\n\nCoordinates with contractors and agencies about different tasks and projects\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, geology, environmental science or related field, preferred.\n\nQualifications\n\n12 + years of experience with solid technical knowledge and skills associated with structures and building construction.\nCA Registered Engineer\n\nAs a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
